Hello Everyone! I wanted to reintroduce myself. My name is Lydia Berndt, I am an art teacher at Edison High School in San Antonio. I am living the dream teaching some really rad students 😊
One of my 5th grade classes started a business called “weaving wonders” ! All the money they received for their art goes to animal shelters. They surprised me with some of their art as a goodbye gift for my last week @AHCambridgeArt ! @AHISD
Our Black History exhibit is ready for viewing! Stop by the Cambridge Fine Arts building with your iPhone or iPad to learn about some amazing musicians, athletes, and artists!!!
This week we are working on Art to Remember projects! Students created watercolor collages inspired by Peter Brown’s Mr. Tiger Goes Wild! Thankful to be working with such talented kiddos! @Cambridge_AH
Thinking of all my artists friends today. I know some of us do have studios and others do not. We will get through this, keep on doing art!

https://t.co/ReWuTO2X0J is a great way for students can figure out their strengths! It will be helpful for students to find ways on how to grow. #tweet5#educ331#distancelearning
Teachers let’s take a step back and maybe think about how much homework you are assigning. This is a hard time, let’s just focus on supporting our students the best we can. #tweet5#educ331
PSA: go outside, take a walk. Not only is it good to take a break from the computer, but you might be freeing up the WiFi, and giving other students more access! 🤔 #justmorningthoughts#educ331#tweet4
We made these assumptions that students might be able to go to the library or maybe a coffee shop to gain access to complete their homework. But, now we are at a stay at home order, students can’t leave. How do we fix this? We ask the right questions. #educ331#tweet3
5-12million students still don’t have access to internet. This is crazy considering how much we are depending on the internet now. As a teacher, it’s important to be aware of this data, and make sure your kids are getting access #tweet2#educ331
