@anjibennett You wait until spouse B goes away for a weekend, get cat. See how long it takes for spouse B to notice when they get back. By which point it will be too late to return cat as children will be in love.Soon Spouse B will be pretending they wanted cat all along.Always worked for us
@bumblebeenush I’ve always had a someone there for mum, mostly commonly partner or their mum, for everything accept GAs. Can’t imagine it being done differently. Can’t claim to be an obstetric anaesthetist but I’ve done a lot of time on LWs.
@paramedicjb I qualified in 2011. I’ve worked in anaesthesia and ICU since 2014. Currently in a major trauma centre. Never seen anyone with injuries from a shooting.
@ollieburtonmed Fix a malfunctioning crash buzzer, at 3am, in a deserted bay and on your own as the rest of the ward staff have convinced themselves it’s a ghost…
It's difficult to think that my specialty has to have this page on its website, but I'm glad that support is on offer and signposted.

@DrNickTwit @thefourthcraw There are still long days in that 6 weeks (one set of 4, one set of 3) but our long days are 8-8.30, so bit less disruptive.
@DrNickTwit @thefourthcraw Our Rota got changed in feb. Our nights are all lumped into 2 weeks. I have a set of weekend nights this weekend then none for 6 weeks. I feel more energetic just at the thought!
