In DT, Year 6 have been designing their air raid shelter designs. They worked collaboratively in a group to discuss, design and label their final design. We are looking forward to starting the constructing process next week 👍🎨

Was very noisy in Y6 today as the children constructed some simple and series circuits using different electrical components. They loved the buzzers

We enjoyed comparing the maps from 1854 to a Modern day map of our local area.Locating Bradford Road and the railway line helped us to find mills on both the maps. We then discussed how the use of the mills has changed over time.

Year 6 have been designing their fabric Lino print using their motifs inspired by William Morris. They etched their designs into a Lino print tile and have started the printing process. Excellent artwork 😀

Y6H loved their PE lesson led by legacy sport. They loved the new game which tested their team working skills☺️
