Seniors voted to gut Social Security.
Men voted for their wives and daughters to die from miscarriages.
Immigrants voted for deportation raids.
Poor people voted for tax cuts for billionaires.
Women voted to have fewer rights than men.
Police voted for a convicted felon.
Right now, MAGAs are pumping out their chests because they think they and Trump defeated us.
It’s when they can’t pay their mortgages or afford groceries or get health insurance that they’ll realize Trump was the singular enemy all along, and that we were fighting for them, too.
And by then it will be too late.
Today not only did I vote for access to health care, for reproductive freedom, for equal rights, for safe schools, and for a fair economy, but also for SANITY and HUMAN DECENCY.
Please remember that whoever you are and wherever you live, your voice matters. Your VOTE matters.
I know we don't agree on everything, and that is the beauty of this country, but GOOD LORD aren't you tired of this negativity towards each other? The intimidation and constant threats to those who do not think the same as the other?
Let's please end this era of fear, chaos and the attacks on our democracy - and vote for someone who will unite us and not continue to threaten to divide us
I very proudly voted for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
We are so lucky we get to VOTE and this election is in our hands! We only have one week until Election Day so talk to your friends, your family, your neighbors and let's find our way back to each other with respect, common cause, and Love💙🇺🇸
Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.)
To keep fascism out of our lives, vote for democracy!
Putting an anti-abortion conspiracy theorist in charge of our public health agencies says everything you need to know about how Donald Trump would govern.
He is more unhinged than ever, and if he wins, he'll have no one to hold him back.
Other things Donald Trump will do "whether the women like it or not":
- ban abortion nationwide
- ban the Pill, Plan B, and IUDs
- create a federal pregnancy and menstrual cycle database tracking women nationwide
How do we know? It's all in Trump's Project 2025.
This media obsession with *just* the comedian’s racist jokes works in Trump and the GOP’s favor. They make it all about the comedian and get to ignore the speaker who called Harris the anti-Christ and the Devil, the speaker who referred to her ‘pimp handlers,’ the speaker who called Palestinians pro-terrorist, the speaker who endorsed the neo-Nazi Great Replacement theory, etc etc etc.
🚨🚨🚨 Make sure you tell the undecided voters you speak to that Trump is gonna let RFK Jr. try to yank vaccines from the market that prevent our kids from getting measles and other diseases.
BREAKING: In a stunning announcement, after distancing himself from Project 2025, Donald Trump announced he will appoint Tom Homan (Project 2025’s author) on day 1. Retweet to make sure all Americans see this and know Donald Trump is Project 2025
Some people seem to have forgotten how bad a president Trump was, so I made a list of the 100 Worst Things About the Trump Presidency, in no particular order. Please share and add anything I missed. 🧵
Finally, the ad quotes Axios as writing, “GLOBAL WAR.”
But the Axios article wasn’t about the situation under Biden and Harris. It was about a bipartisan commission that found the US isn’t prepared for a hypothetical future global war. https://t.co/6WnwXHVCrU
The ad quotes NBC as writing, “Welfare for illegals.”
But the NBC story is from 2018, before the Biden-Harris term began…and it doesn’t mention them.
It’s about licensing rules keeping DACA recipients out of some jobs. It mentions “welfare for illegal immigrants” in passing.
As a narrator talks about Biden’s “open-border policies,” the ad purports to quote CBS as writing, “Harris vows to keep Biden’s border.”
Here’s what CBS actually wrote: “Harris vows to keep Biden's border crackdown: ‘The United States is a sovereign nation.’” https://t.co/2QpXvS9rFA
The ad purports to quote the New York Times as writing, “Harris is seeking to significantly raise taxes.”
Here’s what the Times actually wrote: “Harris is seeking to significantly raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans and large corporations.” https://t.co/H8zhqUY3NW
We ran an article Friday about how the Trump campaign has made a habit of deceptively using quotes in its TV ads, cutting out words and taking stuff way out of context.
Then the campaign released the most egregious example yet. Here's a thread on deceptive quotes in its new ad.
Trump whines about inflation
But he’ll do NOTHING about grocery giants’ greedflation — jacking up the cost of food through price gouging
And his Project 2025 will end the seasonal farm worker visa program, which could DOUBLE or TRIPLE the cost of food for all Americans
