@daniellesoneff I totally agree, ideologically! But putting method to practice is the challenge when society is so driven by profit how do we shift to prioritize choices that don’t show “value” to the decision makers. class, race, gender, ability, age, so many people need a seat at the table.
last wk I wrote a note after a #gsaws21 talk on decentering design: "Are people capable of designing for a better future even if it comes at their own detriment". I personally don't believe in altruism, so how do we do this when competing with bias and inequity?
