@BBCWorld Although I do not live in the UK, I believe that $15 dollars a month would be outrageous in the United States. I mean, heated seats are commonplace nowadays!!
@jamesvgingerich This is so smart! I'm sure they get a lot of wind too. I wonder how expensive they are compared to a regular ship? Is 12 days faster or slower than the typical travel time? #bcTechF22
@JYSexton TikTok has specific algorithms based on the country you are located in. For example, China shows its users content about young people winning competitions while Americans see pranks. Our brains then associate dopamine with the related content. #bcTechF22
@KevinSvenson_ Yes, this is scary. I feel they will not consider their privacy rights before getting the implant. We've already seen this when people started using social media apps and regrettably learned later that they never had any privacy. I am explicitly thinking of Snapchat. #bcTechF22
@KioskMktplc I always wondered how long it would take retail clothing stores to change to cashier-less checkout. Target, Walmart, etc. have been doing it for a while. It does take away the personal feel, but that can be reserved for boutiques in which you pay the price. #bcTechF22
@gigaaaAI How does the exoskeleton know how to move? I wonder if it is comfortable and adjusted well for the user. How soon can these become available for more people? #bcTechF22
@VladimirRadu_R I see the pros and cons of this. The doctor is so impersonal and it could be unreliable when you might really need assistance. On the other hand, it can save the doctor a lot of time and they could help more patients. #bcTechF22
@jamesvgingerich Can they pick up/transport people if they are stranded somewhere? What is the load factor? Jet suits can be used for many things but I think it is best to use them for lifesaving, humanitarian uses. #bcTechF22
@RasikaWithanage This could be a very useful technology. I am concerned about the suit concept. If someone is in physical therapy it might be difficult for them to put on the sensor suit. This would be convenient for people who want to do physical therapy from home. #bcTechF22
@backtolife_2023 We're already monitored constantly. Requiring a company to get the government's permission to use facial ID software doesn't improve the situation. It's still invasive. People still haven't given consent and are unaware that their face is being scanned and identified. #bcTechF22
