Moses questioned God
Sarah doubted God
Jacob wrestled with God
Jonah ran from God
Job argued with God
David cried out to God
God kept meeting them in their questions, doubts, wrestling, fear, grief, and failure.
He met them.
He’ll meet you too.
Last week, I was deeply disturbed hearing Baba Adeboye say, “Even little children now call me stupid.” Something is going terribly wrong.
There is a DIGITAL RECKLESSNESS spreading through a generation. People now say things behind screens that they would NEVER have the courage to say standing before the person. Social media has given everybody a microphone, but A MICROPHONE IS NOT A MANDATE.
Scripture says, “Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father” (1 Timothy 5:1). Jude warns about those who “despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities” (Jude 8). Peter describes people who are “presumptuous” and “not afraid to speak evil of dignities” (2 Peter 2:10).
These are not casual warnings.
And Christian bloggers, BE CAREFUL!
Do not build your income on the destruction of honour in the Body of Christ. Do not discover that outrage pays and then deliberately keep believers angry because anger produces clicks.
Do not turn dishonour into a business model.
Do not cut clips to manufacture wars. Do not create inflammatory headlines to pitch ministers against one another. Do not monetise insults, rage and accusations and then call it “Christian content.”
There is money you should be AFRAID to make.
There are views you should not want.
There are conversations you should refuse to amplify.
Young people, hear me: the internet has not suspended the fear of God.
You can disagree without dishonour.
You can question without insulting.
You can examine doctrine without becoming abusive.
Do not mistake rudeness for boldness, mockery for discernment, rage for revelation or virality for divine approval.
Scripture still says, “Honour all men” (1 Peter 2:17).
Your keyboard did not cancel that command.
PUT THE FEAR OF GOD BACK INTO YOUR DIGITAL LIFE.
Because some clicks are simply too expensive for your soul.
You demanded to be the head of the house. Yet you do not know how to operate the washing machine you bought.
You cannot boil water without asking where the salt is.
When your wife gets sick, the entire household logistics collapse in less than 12 hours.
You are just a heavily subsidized dependent with a deep voice.
Weaponized incompetence = embarrassment.
And many of you are on this train of incompetence.
A real man knows the architecture of his own domain. He can step in and run the entire operation seamlessly.
Stop being a burden.
Never underestimate what God can do overnight. One day you’re crying yourself to sleep wondering how you’re going to make it, then doors start opening that nobody could’ve opened but Him. God doesn’t need months to change your situation. One blessing can change your entire life. Keep believing even when you can’t see it yet.
God is saying to you today: No matter how difficult it has been recently, you're alive to read this message, and that is a blessing. As impossible as things may seem right now, I still woke you up this morning. As hard as it seems to keep going, I am giving you strength. Despite your circumstances, hold on to hope, have faith, and trust and believe in me. Better days are on the way.
There’s this my childhood friend that relocated to Abuja while I was still in PH.
Last month, she called me and said she just moved to Lagos and had gotten a place in Lekki. She was reaching out to me to come install curtains and window blinds for her.
I was so happy. I got to her place, took the measurements and she paid that same day.
I said, “Omo, see my childhood friend don make am o!” 😂
After we finished the installation, we got talking and I asked her, “Babe, wetin dey bring money na? Which business you dey do? Plug me abeg, I need another source of income. Business is slow.”
This babe boldly told me she was playing SportyBet. That’s her source of income
Based on the fact that I was the one handling her interiors, I believed her. 😂
I said, “Oya, when you predict your games, dey send me o.”
She said no problem.
Fast forward to Sunday, I saw her WhatsApp status:
“You can’t say you like me and not spend on me. My rent is ₦2.5M. If you can’t pay it, don’t disturb me.”
Immediately, I said, “So na me this babe dey whine? 😂 Na man dey fund your lifestyle abi?”
No allow anybody pressure you for this Lagos 😂
Make the decision to be serious with God this week.
Make the decision to pray tonight.
Make the decision to study the bible.
Every time you choose to do other things over your commanded devotion to God, you show that you love those things more than God.
That's idolatry. Please, yield to the Lord, grace is available.
The painful truth about many mistakes is this: when you made the decision, you told yourself you had no other option. Then the consequences arrived, and suddenly you could see ten other things you could have done.
The options were always there. Anger hid them. Pride dismissed them. Hurt made them look impossible.
This is especially true in conflict. You could have waited. You could have listened. You could have asked questions. You could have walked away. You could have refused to retaliate.
But in the heat of the moment, reaction presented itself as the only option.
One mark of maturity is learning to see your options BEFORE consequences reveal them.
Your spouse should be one of the biggest and most important decisions of your life.
I recently met a girl who is a single child and comes from a wealthy family. In the middle of our conversation, she said something that really stayed with me:
“Once my parents are no more, I won’t have any immediate family or a backup. My spouse will be the only family I have. So I simply can’t afford to take a risk when choosing my partner.”
And honestly, I’ve never thought about marriage from this perspective.
Your spouse isn’t just someone you spend your life with. For many people, they eventually become their biggest support system, their family, and the person they rely on the most.
So yes, choosing the right person is a HUGE decision.
The world may never see this level of greatness ever. To think that this happened in our generation. The stats are ridiculous. 1 man overseeing over 50,000 branches & campuses. 1 man from Nigeria. Up to 5 million people in 1 service. For context Norway has a population of 5.6 million people.
Denmark has a population of 6 million people.
Switzerland has a population of 9 million people.
Singapore has a population of 6 million people.
Jamaica has a population of 2.8 million people.
RCCG has about 30 million global members. More members than all of these countries put together.
More people gathered for Jesus than country populations put together.
Imagine the impact it has made. Imagine the impact it will make...
On bended knees, I am grateful and thankful to be alive to witness this. We honor you Sir.
THE STORM IS COMING TO AN END
God is speaking to you: I am about to do something you didn't expect. What felt delayed is about to shift-suddenly, doors will open, your situation will improve, and the right people and opportunities will appear at the right time. You've endured difficult seasons, but they were not in vain. What you've been through has prepared you for what's ahead. The battles you've been facing are being resolved. What tried to overwhelm you is losing its hold.
This storm will not last forever-it is coming to an end.
Isaiah 60:22 I the Lord will make it happen.
One good thing that you will learn with God is patience.
Cry all you want, he has heard you, But you will be patient while he does what he does best, which is the part that feels impossible.
He’s touched by your tears, extremely touched infact, but you will be patient.
The devil will give you your heart’s desire, but at the eternal expense of your soul and the earthly expense of your marriage, family, peace, and purpose. If money, sex, power, and fame is your god, regret will one day become the soundtrack of your life.
Today is my 49th birthday. 🎂❤️
I type this from the hospital lobby, waiting for the doors to open so I can go feed my Dad breakfast. 😂
Not exactly how I planned to spend my birthday. My eyes are tired for lack of adequate sleep, but I am most grateful for life, health and vitality.
At 32, I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy by a cardiologist. He told me my heart had been severely damaged by the heart disease I developed during a pregnancy complicated by preeclampsia.
He told me I wouldn't live to see 40.
Today, I am 49. 🙏🏽
That journey through heart disease built my faith in God.
It also led me to discover my purpose and birth my business, Fit Nutrition.
Through that journey, I've had the privilege of helping many clients and customers take better care of their bodies and pursue better health.
I went from taking more than 7 tablets every day to taking zero today.
At 49, I have never felt more alive.
My story has taught me that a medical diagnosis does not have to be the end of the story.
God has the final say.
I may not be celebrating this birthday the way I planned, but I am deeply grateful for the many blessings God has given me.
Happy birthday to me. 🥂❤️
If you will, say a prayer for me and my Dad today.
Jesus is Lord! 🙏🏽
Normalize being a boring Christian. Sleep early. Wake before the sun. Open your Bible to understand it. Pray before you touch your phone. Hit the gym. Eat clean. Cut the people who pull you away from God. Build in silence. Sit alone with Him. Stillness looks boring to people addicted to noise. That's the whole point. Your life doesn't have to be loud to be blessed. Sometimes the real flex is disappearing for a while. Becoming the man nobody can shake.
