This is the craziest night sky shot I've ever taken. There's air glow, red light on the horizon from the blinking lights of wind turbines over the hill, AND if you zoom in, you can see a huge storm system lit up from lightning in the distance. It almost looks like a detonation.
This 2 minute timelapse captures the Rossburn, Manitoba violent wedge tornado touching down feet in front of me yesterday evening. Multiple homes were damaged by the tornado but thankfully everyone was okay. Shot on the @insta360 X5.
The Effingham tornado from last Wednesday has been rated an EF-3 with peak winds of 150 mph. The tornado remained on the ground for just over 26 miles, causing significant damage along its path. Here are few still shots I captured!
Quick edit showing some of the intense moments today while documenting 8 tornadoes in northern Illinois into Indiana. Massive shoutout to @skydrama for nailing the forecast in the warm sector. Hands down the craziest tornado outbreak I've ever documented.
