@NurseStandard Add to that that we never get backpaid pay rise either so right now, I'm effectively working for 3.6% less than trust employee nurses. Bank nurses are not valued in general.

2. Some degree of flexibility around childcare
3. Progression opportunities for those who can't be full time/fully flex
4. The opportunity to work in an area of interest instead of being placed somewhere and expected to be grateful for a job.

Charlie was my first exposure to the nurse role and while I wouldn't say he was the reason I trained he certainly sparked my interest in the role!! It was an emotional ride last night but the writers did right by him and did a wonderful job!

@skyemartyn74379 @JujuliaGrace The NHS could do a lot to help themselves though. I'm an agency nurse, purely because the NHS is so bloody rigid that I can't work it around childcare 🤷
