Music producer. I misuse Twitter to think aloud and go on about music I’m making. Unmuted following not advised. I don’t check tweets/messages/followers.
@DerrenLitten ‘Benidorm’ is the only thing I can bring myself to watch lately. It’s people being celebrated, not for being “successful”, not for being sophisticated, not for being clever, not for being virtuous, but just for being great people. Thank you. #Benidorm
@SP1nightonly Seems the ghosts from 'Dead Line' are messing with Inside No. 9 again. Just tried to rewatch S5 E1 (The Referee's a...) via Amazon, but instead an episode of a show called 'Blue Lights' is in its place. The other episodes of Season 5 are fine.
I think being around nice people, and also, having the opportunity to deeply care for another (my dog), I think those are also important ingredients for a fulfilling life for me. So I'm grateful for moments when I have that, even when so much is scary for me these days.
So grateful for days when it feels like I have really used my mind. I've had more of those lately as I've been trying to repair my ability to concentrate. It makes me realise that that was all I'd wanted in life: to use my mind, for the things I cared about e.g. music.
@MictheVegan Though being serious, you have clearly accomplished more than that, so congrats on that too. A talented content creator, with a scientific mind, helping people improve their health, even running your own expeditions.
@MictheVegan okay, he called you 'Nick' instead of 'Mike', but he's Dr. McDougall, and he was thinking of you, so that still counts. Because it's Dr. McDougall.
@MictheVegan The legend that is Dr. McDougall just mentioned you in his latest vid, congrats, you have officially made it in life:

@ReeceShearsmith@SP1nightonly Know what it's like to lose 9 years. Though watching Inside No.9 was a little time I've salvaged back from that. Thank you.
"If I could go back and stop the accident, I would be so happy right now" = 99% of my thoughts, every day, of the past 9 years.
When I think about how life would be now, had the accident not happened, I even smile, it uplifts me so much, realising, things could've been okay.
It's scary, because I'm being confronted by how much the accident has affected me, in terms of my ability to concentrate, but I'm trying to find a routine to help with concentration. Seems so hard to get things done, despite all my efforts. And there's no support, so it's scary.
