1/12 My advice to someone who wants to lose weight. In this thread I'll be scraping the surface on some key points that I'll be going into further detail in the future on my page. Losing weight isn't a quick and easy process. It's a long and sometimes difficult journey.
4/4 Fasting is hard when you first start doing it, but it becomes easier every time you do it just like anything else. The benefits you get from it significantly outweigh how difficult it is when you first start.
1/4 Todays topic: Fasting. When I was overweight I used to eat within a hour of waking up. As soon as I woke up I would be thinking about what I was going to have for breakfast. After eating this early I would always feel bad and have low energy after. As I started to lose
3/4 Compared to when I would eat first thing in the morning. When I was losing weight I would fast for 4-5 hours everyday until I ate. Even today, as I am putting on some weight/muscle I fast for about 3 hours every morning. I do it simply for the mental clarity it gives me.
2/4 Weight, I slowly pushed my breakfast time back from the time that I woke up. Through this I realized that fasting is beneficial for multiple reasons. Not only did it shorten my time to eat within the day, it also made me feel so much more focused and energized in the morning
3/3 Most about is your own. So when you're feeling a lack of motivation in your journey, think about how much more highly you'll think of yourself once you become the healthier version of yourself.
1/3 Todays topic: Doing it for you. One of the most important things when it comes to being consistent losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle is doing it for yourself. What I mean by that is your motivation to be better can't be based off of getting validation from other
2/3 People. Your main source of motivation needs to come from yourself and being proud of what you're capable of. Being motivated by what other people will think of you once you lose weight and become healthier will only work sometimes. The opinion that you should be worried the
3/3 Nothing is going to be easier on January 1st, it will actually be harder. Therefore, there is no reason to put getting started off until the new year. Get started today and you will be thanking yourself on January 1st when everyone else is just getting started.

2/3 Is right now. Stop putting your goals on hold and start achieving them today. Getting started with anything is always going to be the hardest step but once you get started everything becomes so much easier and clear. Don't wait for the new year to go after what you want
1/4 Today's topic: The purpose of doing cardio: As I mentioned in my previous posts, doing cardio is not going to make a big difference directly when it comes to losing weight. That will come from properly structuring your diet. However, doing cardio does make a huge difference
3/4 diet. Try doing some cardio and see how your cravings and mindset has changed. I recommend walking at least a hour a day and doing some form of hard cardio a couple times a week. This might sound like a lot at first but you will find that once you get started doing it

8/12. Going back to exercising. Getting active and moving your body is a crucial part of weight loss. However, it's not for the reason that you probably think. Doing cardio does burn calories but more importantly it gets your mind in the right positive place to keep you focused

Something that I wish I learned a lot sooner in my journey is prioritizing Whole Foods like eggs, meat, fruit and vegetables. These will leave you feeling full and satiated compared to ultra processed foods.
