Thank you so much to all our families who have donated to the Food Bank Treat Bag project over the last four weeks. You have made such a difference to local families who are finding this festive period hard.
Children of Lyndhurst have been busy making wooden decorations based on Van Gogh’s Starry Night to help spread Christmas cheer across our whole Lyndhurst community. We hope you like them.
Thank you to all the generous families who donated Christmas Treat bags or goodies to go to the Foodbank this morning. We will be collecting every Tuesday morning at drop off time between now and the end of term.
Instead of our usual open event, we have created a short video to introduce Year 2 pupils and their families to Lyndhurst Junior School and give them a flavour of what belonging to the Lyndhurst Family is like. https://t.co/5Po9W7y0a2
This is a recording of the song performed as part of our Remembrance Event. The choir representatives were joined by the rest of the school back inside their classrooms. Thank you to the choir members and their families for giving us permission to share. https://t.co/OqqyjDuB8T
@CollegeParkInf and @Lyndhurst_KGA are working together to make Christmas treats for the children of the families who use the Foodbank. Here is an example from one of Year 5 pupils.
Well done to everyone who took part in the Summer Reading Challenge. We won a beanbag for the school library! We can't wait to use it once the restrictions around soft furnishings in school are lifted. @PortsmouthSLS
At at time when we are separated from many we love, the Lyndhurst Family came together to create a new poppy wave as a symbol of remembrance & hope. Each member of our school made a poppy & it is lovely to see them united for us & our community to enjoy. #RemembranceDay2020

It has come to our attention there is a TikTok site with our school logo on it. It is not related to our school in any way. Thank you to the concerned Year 6 children who reported this to us. The age requirement for signing up to TikTok is 13.
