What happened to Sid Markus Imani Varland? He wowed Kenyans during the 2021 World U20 Championships at Kasarani Stadium thanks to his impressive high jump skills. He cleared heights effortlessly and displayed all the hallmarks of a promising high jumper in the making. In interviews with the press at the time, he mentioned that he was also a sprinter. But since then, there's been no news about him. I often wonder what happened to his transition to the senior level.
