@AusConservation@Mon4Kooyong @michrajah Thanks to these busy MPs for taking the time to see first hand the reprehensible waste and destruction of precious habitat caused by native forest logging in Victoria. 2030 is too late. We need to stop native forest logging now.
A message to politicians: this is why we need strong nature laws 💔
Thank you @Mon4Kooyong and @michrajah for joining our latest tour of the Toolangi State Forest to see firsthand the devastation of native logging.
Next step: EPBC Act reform.

Lets join the dots between climate and environmental decline which are a two way street. The State of the environment reports are telling us we are not doing well, we are not doing enough to respect the land or the people on the land. We can do better. All land and all people.
Last night 66 citizen scientists surveyed 6 forest areas across Victoria and found 60 endangered Greater Gliders (how obliging were the Gliders to fit in with our numerical theme!)
With the exception of Alberton, all of these forests are slated for logging.
