A very well written and thought provoking article from one of our members. This is about families and loving couples who should not be used as a political battering ram

@vfsglobalcare My husband’s visa was being processed in the UK on 02.07 but your Indonesia office closed on 03.07. We paid for priority service as I legally have to leave - are you going to courier passports to people when decisions have been reached? What are we supposed to do?!
@oldandrewuk I've said it before (e.g. in Hendrick & McPherson's "What does this look like in the classroom") but I'll say it again. Any school leader who says it is a good idea for teachers to mark everything their students do needs to think about what else could be done with that time.
@safimichael I’ve lived in Asia for near 20 years, eat jackfruit curries more weeks than not and have never come across a ‘stinking’ jackfruit yet... durian, yes plenty, but not jackfruit. I actually find your title rather offensive; it’s a much loved fruit here in Indonesia.
