I scraped a story I worked on for over a year because I realized it wasn’t progressing. Now I’m in such a slump, I scrap everything paragraph I come up with. Anyone in the #WritingCommunity whose dealt with this issue, what helped you move past the slump?

Realizing that my current WIP has lost my interest completely. I kept saying ‘I’ll work on it tomorrow’ because I no longer have the spark for it. For now it’s going on my back burner. Maybe one day I’ll reignite the flame. For now, onto side project number 1 #writingcommmunity

After 2 weeks of hiding I’ve finally started writing again.
Sometimes I remember that quote from (I believe) Stephen king about how if you haven’t completed a book in 3 months you should scrap it. Then I toss that quote out the window and write at my own pace. #WritingCommunity
