History in the making🎉
Minister @SylviaJonesMPP to table the Primary Care Act which would make Ontario the 1st jurisdiction in the country to enshrine in law the expectation for everyone to have access to a family doctor or a primary care NP working in a publicly funded system.
This past week, the Chinese learned
1) exactly where Trump's pain points are;
2) how much to squeeze them before he flinches;
and
3) how little America's partners and allies want to help this president.
Highly useful information.
Trump’s 25% tariff on Canadian auto imports is a devastating blow to hundreds of thousand of good, honest, hard-working Canadians.
We Albertans have long pleaded with central Canadians to understand the importance of the energy industry to our economy.
Well, now we have to show Ontarians that we share their outrage with this betrayal, and stand in solidarity with those whose livelihoods & communities are in real danger.
Let’s not allow Trump to divide Canadians.
We have to stand together to defend *all* industries and jobs.
That means that everything should be on the table in terms of our potential strategic response.
To the Ontarians who are deeply anxious about these attacks, please know that the vast majority of Albertans stand proudly with you, and have your back.
Mark Bourrie’s new book “Ripper” will have Pierre Poilievre running for cover. Poilievre “represents the dark side of our nature” writes the award-winning author. “This is a book about how Canada made its own version of Donald Trump.”
From Mark Bourrie's just published book, "Ripper," on Poilievre.
"I think he's an angry teenager in the body of a grown man."
PP is intelligent, a sound-bite maestro, Bourrie writes, but "the nastiest leader of a major party in this country's history." A political "goon."
If you want to understand why the support for the Conservative party is slipping, it is because not only has the party gotten too comfortable with this type of behaviour, it even celebrates it!
Canadians have a low tolerance for disrespect.
Prime Minister Carney will travel to France and the United Kingdom to strengthen trade and defence ties with reliable partners.
He will then travel to Nunavut to bolster Canada’s Arctic sovereignty and to unlock the North’s full economic potential. More: https://t.co/VLB4YZnyrt
I can’t believe Rubio is trying to legitimize Trumps crazy aspiration to annex Canada…. In Canada! Maybe just better not to speak in public on this idiotic issue, Mr. Secretary.
It’s time to unite Canadians by focusing on shared values and common goals. It’s time to spend less, and invest more. It’s time to secure new trading partners and build one strong Canadian economy. Let’s get to work.
Worth noting, I think: Pierre Poilievre congratulated Donald Trump on winning the presidential election in November.
He did not congratulate Mark Carney on becoming leader or Prime Minister, nor did he thank outgoing PM Justin Trudeau for his service.
BREAKING: In a shocking twist, the Wall Street Journal Editor in Chief blasted Trump's economic policies on Fox this morning. Trump is already fuming and posting on Truth Social.
