I’m volunteering with ag in the classroom and visiting some schools in March. I’m looking for people from the Carman area who would be willing to part with a tiny little sample of any of the following: flax, wheat, peas and lentils to show the students! Anything helps!
@rhofford Something to consider down the road, insist for it in the contract. Make part of the contract to have a copy of each contractor and sub’s liability insurance and contact information. If they aren’t willing, that’s a red flag. This weeds out the under qualified fly by night guys.

@schrieferranch I’m working the booth for the company I work at all week and i am staying at my sisters as we can’t get rooms. I’ve gone for the past 6 years and haven’t managed to secure a room yet.
@ChristiFriesen @RossCam91226240 A broker is exempt from licensing with the cgc. I would push hard to get payment because if the broker were to go insolvent, I don’t believe there is any security in place that would cover your loss.
@RonKrahn @EXNH3__guy We bought an older seadoo last summer! We’ve had a good time on that thing on Killarney lake! It’s definitely high on my recommended list for lake life.
These little electric lunch boxes sure make sending harvest meals out to the field nice and easy! Bonus points is having the aluminum container meals ready to go in the freezer!
@scott_perkin@Antler_Oak Good to know but wrong end of the province for me! Perks of being on maternity leave is I have a whole bunch of time to make freezer meals for the boys anyways.
@rhofford We rented one, they have a poor design. They overheat quickly, minimally powered, might work for digging a shallow trench like you want but beyond that, not much use. Certainly was not the winner as drilling fence holes.
@wwetookmybaby@clhubes To offset the possibility. My son is almost 5 months and still sleeps 10 hours, he’s been sleeping through the night since about 5W and before that he would still give us 5-6 hour stretch as soon as we got home from the hospital. I’m crossing my fingers that things won’t change!
@Smithfamilyseed If you put up a rail and a self closing gate that automatically looks into place, that will keep the little one from jumping into the pool. I would also opt to buy a ladder that you screw to the deck and then not be able to get into the pool from ground level.
