When it rains it pours, my oldest son got excepted into a Master's program at Michigan State. One of my other sons is off for BLC so he can become a Sgt in MI National Guard and he has a 3.2 GPA at Central Michigan Uni. And another son is getting married in Oct.
Good news, after a year of rejections, a ton of contract jobs, DH finally got a direct hire position that is local here. Good benefits, a matching 401K, a pension plan. He starts Aug 17th. So excited. He'll be in an office instead of working from home, that's ok though.
Had an MRI of my brain Saturday due to headaches. Oncologist was concerned my cancer moved. Anyway, getting ready for my doctor's appointment and the phone rang while I was in the shower. DH saw it was doc office so he answered, no need to come in. MRI is clean. No tumor.
