“In God’s book success is spelled stewardship. It’s making the most of the time, talent, and treasure God has given you. It’s doing the best you can with what you have where you are.”- Mark Batterson
We are praying for all of our fellow students to finish the race! To finish finals on a high note! Our prayer is also to not forget God during this very stressful week. Take time out of your day to spend with God! God is eternal, but our grades are not!
2 Corinthians 5:17 is a such a great reminder that every day is a new day. Every moment is a new moment. We’re to let go of the past (good or bad) and focus on the present. Trust God and let Him be God. We can’t be God even though we try to be.
“Quit living as though it’s BC-before Christ. It’s AD-anno domini, the year of the Lord. If you need to, reread the book of Revelation to remind yourself that love wins and hate loses; faith wins and fear loses!”
- Mark Batterson, “Chase The Lion”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 reminds us to encourage others instead of tearing them down. Encouragement is a combination of inspire and confidence. Encourage others daily!!
John 1:12 brings a great reminder of how big belief brings big reward. When we we put our belief in God and trust Him with everything, we are rewarded by becoming His child.
Nehemiah 12:27-43 provides a great reminder to always be thankful for what God does in our life. In this passage, the dedication of the rebuilt wall in Jerusalem was taken place. People celebrated through rejoicing in what God did for them. We should do the same when God provides
Numbers 13 brings a great reminder to be like Caleb and remain faithful to God. We should focus on doing things for God and not receiving praise from our peers. This is bold, but it so worth it to focus on God because He is our good, good father. God is our protector. Trust Him
Out of the entire armor of God, there is one weapon and that’s the sword of the spirit (The Bible). As Christ followers, we need to daily read the Bible to be ready for spiritual warfare. Satan attacks when we least expect it. Always stay on guard

“Sin is part of our human nature. So is love. Hate the sin, but love the sinner. Love given or received is the best agent for change and forgiveness.”
