BREAKING: Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger has tested positive for #COVID19 while on vacation with his family in Italy, according to a City Hall press release.

The mayor received a second booster last month and is experiencing mild symptoms, the release said.

City Council President @karen_paul will serve as acting mayor until Weinberger returns to Burlington on July 23, according to the release.
