There are reports that Trump may be dealing with bladder incontinence. He’s over 80 years old, yet he continues to push himself and work as if there’s no tomorrow. Say whatever you want about him, but we tolerated Biden for four years, even when many people felt he struggled to hold a substantial press conference or deliver consistently coherent remarks.
What I don’t understand is why there’s something wrong with wanting Americans to come first. Most people naturally want their own families to succeed and have opportunities to thrive. Why shouldn’t we extend that same sense of responsibility to our fellow Americans? Wanting what’s best for your own country doesn’t have to mean wanting anything bad for anyone else. It simply means believing that the people who make up your own community should be a priority.
Yep! We still got COVID, but thankfully, it wasn’t nearly as bad as we had feared based on the warnings at the time, especially for those of us who chose not to get vaccinated. My teenagers got COVID twice, and both times they were only sick for about two days. After that, they were back to normal as if nothing had happened.
I also remember how difficult things became for people who chose not to get the vaccine. There was so much pressure, judgment, and shaming, and I especially didn’t like seeing unvaccinated kids treated differently. Based on our family’s experience and my own concerns, I told my kids that I didn’t want them getting the COVID shot.
I do have a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), but honestly, it feels like we’re forced into it because the premiums for the other options are so much more expensive.
What’s ridiculous is that we pay insurance premiums every month, yet sometimes the amount we’re charged through insurance is MORE than the self-pay price.
How does that make sense? Why should using insurance that we already pay for cost us more than paying cash?
The system is flawed and seriously needs to be reviewed and reformed.
@BEARNOXTV@BomberArmy1@Owennfa I was told it was indeed Obamacare that made health insurance worst and cost of insurance to inflate with less coverage.
Before blaming Republicans for everything, let’s remember that Democrats have their own history to answer for.
Democratic politicians once defended segregation. Democratic leaders like Clinton, Biden, Obama, and Hillary Clinton once opposed same-sex marriage before changing their positions. And today, conservatives have legitimate disagreements with Democrats over abortion, religious freedom, gender policies, and women’s sports.
But here’s the bigger question: Why should someone’s political beliefs destroy relationships with family and friends?
You demand empathy, compassion, acceptance, and tolerance—yet if someone you love votes differently, suddenly they’re immoral, hateful, or no longer worthy of a relationship?
You can’t preach tolerance while refusing to tolerate anyone who disagrees with you.
That’s not compassion. That’s a double standard.
We can disagree politically and still love, respect, and value each other. Family should be bigger than politics.
