UC Davis Health issued a public notice today about a discovery from 7 months ago of unidentified human remains linked to 77 previously unknown burials on University-owned property at the UC Davis Sacramento Campus along Stockton Boulevard.

They say the remains were found in February during construction along X Street. The area overlaps with the former Sacramento County Hospital cemetery, according to historical and archaeological investigations.
