A House of Assembly that has been on suspension for over a year and another 6 months by the SOS declaration would be too battle weary to take on Fubara again.

Fubara is going to laugh last.

Tinubu suspending Fubara for 6 months has helped remove the sword of Democles Wike and his 27 House of Assembly members tied around Fubara's neck.

They had already encircled him and were about to go for his jugular.

An impeachment would have rendered Fubara permanently disabled and give automatic victory to Wike.

There are no two ways about it, giving the avalanche of criticism that has trailed his suspension.

Tinubu cannot restore the House of Assembly alone. Something Wike would have preferred. Fubara would have to be restored alongside.
