I haven’t talked about it much here, but the employees at Powell’s Books (yes, where I work) are fighting for a living wage and better healthcare. Powell’s isn’t keen on giving us either. We’re asking folks to read, sign, and share this petition 💖 https://t.co/TqtxTPIlit
POV: you’re a Powell’s executive, logging into your email on Monday morning 🖥️👀
We’re so grateful for this community support! If you think Powell’s workers deserve a LIVING WAGE, send an email to [email protected] & we’ll pass it along to Powell’s leadership! (🧵)
🧵 These emails from community members in support of @Powells workers are AMAZING. Let’s keep ’em coming! If you believe Powell’s workers deserve a FAIR CONTRACT with a LIVING WAGE, send an email to [email protected] and we’ll pass it along to Powell’s leadership!
@TheBloggess After nearly a year of serious illness, and then major surgery, I can really relate. I'm trying to learn how to human again and the world is just spinning and spinning.
We have put
the poetry books
that were in
your shopping cart
on sale
in case you were
saving
them for later
Forgive us
they’re so good
so sweet
and now, so cheap

I'm mostly on Insta now. But for those of you still here:
8 weeks post-nephrectomy, I'm doing well. In fact, I feel better than I have in a long time. I'm walking almost daily and starting a weights regimen again. I feel vibrant and vital again.
Lovingkindness to you all. 💖
