@RosenSkye it is kinda depressing tho, it's not your case but when you get to a dayjob that is mostly min wage, you are failing at art, you are almost in your 30s, its just...hard not to look at younger folks being better than you and more successful in some way.
@meetimeeti Everyone can experience like they are not successfull enough, there is always someone who is better than you, who has larger followings, who has an industry job with high position.
@meetimeeti For how bad it can be, I feel jealous too of them, at least with 32k on twt and 150k on ig, they are fairly successfull, at the same time it's not the same of an industry job.
Do i still feel jealous? yes, at 27 i struggle a lot with fundamentals and such but 1/2
@Jinelys_art Im 27, same situation, working a dayjob and im lucky enough to be a part time, studying art on my free time, each year that passes feels the same way as you do. I think being over 20 its when expectations makes us feel older and older the less achievements we have.
@spikermonster Imposter syndrome is scary as hell, they are successfull already, not maybe to those high position standards, but the more you grow the harder you feel it looking and younger people.
Im 27, looking jealous for their success, not even near their skill level, i do admit that-
@rdiinmm Sorry to barge in, im like 27, started drawing at like late 22. It mostly depends on how you are youself tbh, i struggle so much with fundamentals, dayjob takes too much energy to be stuck for hours on the same stuff and fixing bad habits is hard in the same way, i do the same xD
@jezitolol123 The LoR design tho its different from the league design, even in the second image, tbh the league one was made way too far off the standout stuff, her LoR design is peak tho even if we can't see too much, its slightly different but waaaay better
@Tsukimaruii I work a dayjob, without a real degree because i want to work with art, not lots of my stuff is out there, sincerely, trying to work on my art fundamentals. Sometimes i feel like i should've choosed art as a hobby and pursue something different, but it wouldn't be the same.
@ayaxanny Tbh a turkish i knew made me taste one of these, i think it was in a container similiar to candies sold here in italy. There was not so much flavor but i loved it, i wish i could buy them here.
@koji1400@lesbian_syrax TBH i never could cope with heat, since I was a child, but with temperatures rising uo by 10+ degrees in 10-15 years its not even a thing of being old, since I'm like this since forever T.T
@wai1010_ Im not skilled yet, but people tell me that i can improve faster than i can actually see, but both my confidence and brain are holding me back so much that my brain and hands are never on the same page.
@ipnotjcaa I need to work with this heat, because the place is huge and no aircon in sight (they would need very big ones since the structure is huge in height too), and its sufficating, and its suffocating.
Its not even june and im scared for august.
Living and workin in florence is hell
@QuoteArtists_ Taking art school and loosing myself after, the school wasn't good but i didn't get back on track soon after.
I want to find the will to draw a lot, to design a lot, to finally love and make money with my art instead of slowly dying in retail hell..
