Its not nearly as good as how they used to reference things obv I just hate that this is the main form of criticism for this gag. Its a huge reason our modern popculture is sort of dying because no one can make reference to even modern media without them being called "late".
not defending modern simpsons but can you imagine this anger during the original couple seasons. "REFRENCING STARWARS??? that came out a DECADE ago!!!"
@d3dazZ@SeabTheVortian@FromHappyRock I’m also not saying he shouldn’t be held accountable I think there is a realistic amount of hate that could be given. I just don’t really care personally about the ad because he didn’t make it and has said nothing about it.
@d3dazZ@SeabTheVortian@FromHappyRock I had explained this he probably signed off on his likeness being used for the bag. I think that’s bad but I also don’t care unless he specifically has used AI in his work.
@d3dazZ@SeabTheVortian@FromHappyRock I mean sure they absolutely do, but is Kojima using it for creative reasons? Again if he isn’t I don’t really care if he’s using it as a tool to streamline the processes of making a game.I’d like crunch time to not exist and also have games come out in a reasonable time window.
@d3dazZ@SeabTheVortian@FromHappyRock Ya man I would to? Game design is extremely expensive Im completely fine with AI being a tool to get work done, but not override the creative process or remove human input.
@d3dazZ@SeabTheVortian@FromHappyRock I will point out he didn’t make it he has said nothing about it, I don’t think that proves it at all. I imagine he just let them use his likeness which is shitty but until he uses it himself in his work I don’t really gaf.
@DJNottingham1@SeabTheVortian@FromHappyRock I was wrong that he disliked ai but he hasn’t supported it as a creative tool instead as a tool to make the processs easier. Which is what I care about personally.
