@Pach_1977@queenie4rmnola A lot of people have been sold the American dream without acknowledgment of the atrocities. They believe the turmoil in their countries is as a result of a corrupt government yet don’t see that white supremacy is the cause.
@fiftyfortyfive @queenie4rmnola The point went over your head. It’s not about playing victim. It’s about learning and acknowledging the atrocities committed. I know it makes you uncomfortable but truth is truth. Your denial of it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
@aderlis18 @queenie4rmnola I know but it’s mostly colorism and classism not racism, in more Hispanic countries it’s racism. All rooted in white supremacy but not experienced directly as it is in the US
When meditation is neglected, your energy is susceptible to a lot of things. You’re more reactive, unsure and your mind starts to be jumbled with things that don’t matter to you.
So everyday, you take 10 minutes in the morning to center yourself no matter how you’re feeling.
i strongly dislike “well they didn’t do anything to me” ass people. y’all will know people are grimy and do things to other people but because it’s not you it’s okay. being an enabler and neutral person isn’t the non-confrontational energy you think it is.
@queenie4rmnola True, this reminds me of Willie Lynch syndrome where they don’t have to put much effort in destroying us just manipulate us into doing it to each other.
The weaponization of “black excellence” and destroying our health physically and mentally to be seen as enough in the eyes of those who never saw us as human to begin with.
I remember saying the only difference between black people in the western countries is a boat stop and receiving so much hate and being called crazy. I don’t understand diaspora wars nor certain black people being pitted against others.
@queenie4rmnola Towards black Americans, further expanding white supremacy. It took one of my cousins who was visiting the US random going to see Queen & Slim, to understand that all Americans are not treated equally.
@queenie4rmnola I feel like I never had a choice, school teaches us in school that slavery is our only history, it felt forced. As an immigrant child I knew that wasn’t true, I butted heads with a lot of history teachers, never saw myself as different from other black people
