In Geography we have been comparing Bushey with London through researching their population and how this has impacted features including transport, schools and hospitals.

We have been researching and learning about Ancient Greek culture in History, including the theatres, pottery and their building styles. We then thought about how their culture has influenced aspects of our lives today!
We have been learning about significant individuals in Guided Reading, including Lilian Bader, who we learnt was the first black woman to join the RAF in 1941!
In English this week, we have been revising and editing our non-chronological reports, making sure to include colons, fronted adverbials and relative clauses✏️
In Science, we have been learning about how shadows are formed and how we know which direction the sun is by looking at shadows. We were very lucky with the weather today!☀️
