@halfintelligens@jcooperkai@MissJilianne Happy to be wrong on this! I own a HW3 car. Hopefully more than “early access” people get it within the next few weeks.
@jcooperkai@MissJilianne Brother, why do this to yourself.
Tesla or Tesla employees would have at least hinted they were on track. They haven’t. It’s not going to happen.
@RealFoodRina I’ll restrain myself and just say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I look at all these other generic looking trucks — they all look the same. Ugly. Cybertruck is new, different, bold, and a thing of beauty.
Nobody at the service center can change the delivery date of your order unfortunately. Also, if you ordered on 2/23, you will get your truck before 2027 no matter if you used an old reservation or not. They claim 2027, because they are using the same source of info that the Tesla AI assist chatbot has access to. It’s not accurate at all. Tesla’s original timeframe when you placed your order is far more accurate. 2/23 was the day that the estimated delivery changed from June to September - October, so you could very well get it this summer. But no later than October.
No offense to the people at the service center, but they don’t actually know this, and they are not told one way or another.
This morning, I also believed it was luck or something, but now I know it’s not.
Multiple people on the cybertruckownersforum have reported getting a vin with an early reservation even though they ordered towards the end of the window. This is not a one time occurrence. Tesla AI assist also knows nothing. One user reported it said 2027 this morning, and they got a VIN a few hours later.
@falcons05@NevrEnoughX@KeelanFord@grok I can guarantee you, you will take delivery before the end of October. More likely sometime in August/September.
Tesla’s original time estimates at order are typically very accurate, however i will admit it was weird that they jumped from estimating June all the way to Sept-Oct
