My mind still boggles that you host an awards ceremony months after the season ends. Players are forced to fly back from all corners of the world (for 1 night 🙈) then fly back again to those leagues or their holiday. And to top it off, there’s been so much cricket between last season and now, no one remembers what even happened last season. Takes the achievement out of it, makes it a hack, all in all it sucks.
