This 2020 school semester has begun and the students at Aptos High School are enjoying their newly renovated quad on campus. Brand new shade structures, benches, and a stage area fitted with outlets makes for the perfect central meeting area.

“A New Day in Watsonville”
Last Friday MADI attended the grand opening of the new Santa Cruz County Adult and Children Behavioral Health Center in Watsonville. This building has 13,000 square feet of offices, cubicles, and conference rooms.#MADIgroup #architecture #watsonville

It’s #WayBackWednesday so take a peek at this project from 2012. MADI master planned and designed the campus expansion for Kipp King Collegiate High School to include a new gymnasium, music room, library and classrooms.

There are many stages in a project’s journey from an initial idea to a finished product and each step is essential to the overall design process. Using presentation boards is a creative way for MADI to display ideas, layouts, and samples to clients and partners.

Nextspace is a collaborative and interactive shared workspace in downtown Santa Cruz, Ca. When MADI designed their breakroom remodel, we wanted to enhance these qualities in a functional and open layout. The kitchen acts as a hub for the working community to thrive.

Pictured here is a project MADI completed called 'The Terrace', located in the heart of downtown Watsonville. This space is a 4-story multi-family apartment building complete with 54 units on a podium with parking and retail on the first floor.
