@MajellaMcCarron@Wreckeddiver2@AaronParnas No one can snap their fingers and instantly have the reflection pool full that’s now how that works it takes several hours infact anywhere from 108 - 120 hours to fill a pool the size of the reflecting pool
@AaronParnas Omg, it’s not full, and it’s windy can’t tell if your playing stupid for engagement bait for money in which case congrats or just stupid seeing as you are an attorney I have to hope it’s the former rather than the later cus yikes
@Komokeooo@Pirat_Nation omg an eastern dragon literally rayquaza.... I love Pokémon, but god do I hate Pokémon fans. They are both eastern dragon-inspired monsters. That's where the similarities start and end
@emilymiller In other news though you got a great shot of it reflecting beautifully with only a couple inches of water disproving all the nonsense on this app
@RealDanODowd@danheld@SpaceX So you admit you are too scared that you are wrong and will lose everything if you short it despite being so confident online that shorting it would be the obvious play for you to become a billionaire if you truly believed what you said.
@rushicrypto One it’s not true and two even in this scenario he’s not above the law he’s paying his fine that’s the options you change it to not be fined or you pay the fine he is doing precisely what he should be under law lol
@Truegreta Remove filth-cry don’t clean up the land -cry lower the initial cost by 300 mil-cry use a generated photo that is purposely made to look like a swimming pool and nothing like what the actual finished product does/will look like
-cry no winning lol
@nomatestype@mcsquared34 Except you don’t that in 99.9 percent of cases is bullshit horror stories. The cost in the US if you are insured is 0-$4000 on the extreme high end with crap insurance. Without insurance your looking at around 10k but you can always apply for Medicaid and then it’s 0
@nomatestype@KrazGuts@mcsquared34 I’m sorry are the immigrants who are applying for citizenship, long term visas, etc. not paying taxes? Or do you not count them as British people because they are immigrants?
@KrazGuts@nomatestype@mcsquared34 It also works generally if you account for all money that goes towards some sort of tax generally in the US it’s around 20-30 percent of your annual income in the UK it’s 33-45 percent. If you add mandatory bs fees in the UK like tv fee and immigration health services it’s 40-55
@KrazGuts@nomatestype@mcsquared34 I was specifically talking about income tax being 10-37 in the US and 20-45 in the UK with it being higher in the uk for someone who earns the same in the us especially in the 50-100k range. I know the uk also has 20 percent vat tax 8 percent NI tax and various other awful taxes
@nomatestype@mcsquared34 Yes and the uk has anywhere from a 10-25 percent higher tax rate than the us has, has significantly more government enforced fees like tv licensing fee, and lets not forget the US is fronting 80 billion a year for drug R&D while the UK pays 7 billion
@GrahamWerstiuk@mcsquared34 Suit and also cover the rising costs which meant deductibles, copays, and monthly premiums went way up. And the ones without insurance are now looking at 300 for an Advil because that’s what the government decided it was willing to pay so the hospitals charge it
@GrahamWerstiuk@mcsquared34 That is 100 percent the governments doing they stuck their hands into the medical field hospitals and drug companies went well the government can pay a shit ton for procedures so they upped all their prices and the government went yep okay so the insurance companies had to follow
@BraddrofliT Unrealized gains is an infinite tax it’s the dumbest thing you could ever tax allowing it is an instant step into a dictatorship unrealized gains tax is quite possibly the stupidest idea of this century.
@dhe3g It’s almost like when there isn’t cops to arrest people crime stats go down because there is no one to arrest the criminals and report the crimes is not safer is actually much worse
