"Yes, of course, democracy, whether direct or indirect, is a form of communism. A majority decides about what belongs to me and what belongs to you and what I and you are allowed to do or not. That has nothing to do with private property"

@yaronbrook Overlooking Hormuz was an evasion of reality, a mystic belief that the enemy is not a rational actor, a self sacrifice of American best assets in the name of peace . A complete philosophical and moral failure.
@InMilei Before writing that this is libertarian reasoning, I would ask legal scholars and those libertarian scholars who are researching in libertarian legal theory. @JoseBReborn , libertarian writer and lawyer, has criticized Milei in the matter.
Betrayal and humiliation. That is how Trump treats America’s allies. I have been saying so ever since The Empire and the Five Kings. Here, my last column in Le Point. Israel is the latest case in a long series.
🇺🇸🔥🇮🇹🇪🇺 Major political clash between Italy and the United States.
In a call to an Italian TV programme, @realDonaldTrump has claimed that @GiorgiaMeloni "begged" him to take a picture with her during the recent G7 summit.
Meloni has just delivered one of the sharpest public rebukes in recent US-Italy relations:
"President Trump's words are pure fantasy [...].
We do not understand why the President of the United States behaves like this, especially towards allies. We would like to see him behave as firmly with the enemies of the West [...].
Myself and Italy do not beg anybody."
Whatever one's political preferences, the President of the United States has no business publicly mocking or insulting the democratically elected leader of a close European ally.
President Trump's childish and needlessly confrontational behaviour is unworthy of the office he holds and of the great nation he represents.
@VividProwess Respect for this far right dude who insulted Zelensky , the German Chancellor Scholz, the Europeans, the Hungarian future Prime Minister, and now Israel ?
