BREAKING: NYPD seizes more than 580 pounds of cocaine from an alleged cartel-linked operation in Queens — the largest NYC cocaine bust in nearly a decade.
The red wedding was a betrayal because Frey violated guest right. Arya did not violate guest right. She also followed the strategy that Walder Frey and Tywin Lannister had employed of it being ok to kill a bunch of people at dinner instead of in the battlefield.
Arya Stark committing a literal political genocide and Westeros basically treating it like a cool revenge scene is still insane to me
she kills Walder, poisons the Frey leadership and basically wipes out an entire great house in one night and Westeros just moves on?
the Red Wedding was treated like one of the biggest political betrayals in history, but this gets almost no fallout.
how did nobody panic about an entire great house disappearing overnight?
was Arya’s revenge actually a massive political event that the show completely underplayed?
The Pennsylvania House Majority Whip for the democrats is already signaling what I predicted yesterday.
“Everyone should be vaccinated.”
If democrats win all 3 branches in PA this November, they will legislate mandatory vaccinations.
Governor Shapiro wants the presidency.
I’m going to make a bold prediction:
If Governor Shapiro & the democrats ever control all 3 branches of the Commonwealth,
they will introduce legislation to mandate vaccinations (even for the Amish).
Shapiro’s pals on the Supreme Court will rule in favor of the legislation.
The goal isn’t the health & well-being of Pennsylvanians — it will be for the purpose of trying to force the Amish out of PA.
The same way New York is forcing the Amish out of its state.

Measles questions.
Let’s be clear- when the Governor comes into our county and holds a press conference with PA Department of Health and Penn Medicine Lancaster general Health and states there were two “measles-associated deaths” here, with the underlying assertion that the two people died FROM measles, and they are the first deaths from measles in 35 years, and that announcement sets off numerous media reports uncritically repeating that two people died FROM measles in Lancaster County, and Lancaster County elected officials then get questions about this – it is totally fair for me to ask for relevant information on those deaths.
Asking questions is not “pro-measles.”
Asking for information that should have been provided at the press conference is not “anti-science.”
It is simply wanting the whole story for my constituents.
When officials who hold a big press conference and make big headlines – those officials owe us more than the headlines. They owe us the whole truth. They owe us accurate information by which the people of Lancaster County can make decisions about their health and safety.
It has been about 24 hours since the press conference. We do not have any answers. Of course journalists should also be asking these questions rather than uncritically repeating something.
Any deaths from measles are required by law to be reported to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office. I have spoken at length with both a senior staff member from that office and the Coroner himself. They currently have zero measles deaths in Lancaster County. They have one death of a person who died WITH measles, but not from measles. We do not know if the state is counting that one. Nor do we know anything about the other death that officials reported yesterday.
Is there an unlikely scenario where a patient from here got measles and sought care outside of Lancaster County and died there and it was reported to another county coroner? Yes. I am open to that or other unlikely possibilities. But if one of these unlikely scenarios is the case, the people holding the press conference had, and currently have, a responsibility to provide that information.
The law DOES allow release of more information. Demographic information that does not identify the patient may be released.
I reached out to Penn Medicine LGH. No response.
I reached out the Governor’s office. No response.
I talked with our Lancaster County Department of Public Safety Director. He has no additional information from the state.
I asked questions this morning at our Board of Commissioners meeting of Commissioner Alice Yoder who was at the press conference yesterday and is a former official at Penn Medicine LGH. She did not have any answers. (This exchange is on video and will be available later today.)
So as of right now, we have ZERO information that corroborates the idea that there were two measles deaths in Lancaster County. Again, everything stated could be accurate. But no one in authority has been able to say that, nor have they even tried to say it.
To me it is a big deal if the Governor comes in and gives a press conference and then no one can or will identify simple details around what was stated and what then generated major news stories.
Transparency is owed to the people.
It is incumbent on those who held the press conference to clear this up.
Immediately.
No one needs to die from measles in 2026. Misinformation and misguided policies are leaving children unprotected against a disease we know how to prevent.
The vaccine is safe and effective. Parents should talk to their doctor about protecting their children from this disease.
If you start with Revenge of the Sith, watch Solo, then all of Andor, then Rogue One, then the original trilogy and end with Force Awakens (to show the struggle never ends), you've got pure greatness on your hands. Just pretend the rest of the movies never happened.
Only the rich can afford to be communists, or if you prefer, "Democratic Socialists."
Grace Ryan, a 25-year-old chocolate heiress from Ohio, is the new poster girl for the communist gang. After attending the $35,000-a-year K-12 grade Columbus Academy she moved on to the $70,000-a-year New York University. Of course dorm life is not for nepo babies, so while attending NYU on her father's dime she lived in $3,170 a month Bushwick studio and spent $50/class for Pilates.
In between her busy life as anything but a poor student, she has photos of herself taken next to a $115,000 Hummer and puffing a cigar on a boat while sporting a $400 Ralph Lauren stars-and-stripes sweater. For the love of all that's holy, the last thing she should be wearing is the American flag!
I'mma seeing a trend here. Mamdani is rich. Hasan Piker is rich. Bernie Sanders is rich. Elizabeth Warren is Rich. El-Sayed is rich. Ro Khanna is Rich.
I could go on, but I think I've made my point.
DSA co-chair Gustavo Gordillo is being sued after skipping out on three rent payments of $2,500 for a Crown Heights apartment he leased while the $1.5 million townhouse gifted to him by his rich daddy underwent renovations, according to court filings

@taliesi_bard Right, that’s the other thing. They’re still an absolute minority of the eligible electorate and in theory can be out-organized with proper resources and infrastructure.
Whether those resources will materialize remains to be seen.
@VickieforNYC That, and horrifically lazy, low turnout among those registered to vote.
The islamist marxist won on just over half of what turned out to be a minority % of eligible voters
Here’s the thing about what’s going on in NYC. There’s now a critical mass of young people who came to New York on their parents dime and treat it like a summer camp, and they’re electing each other.
Young people used to come to this city to make it. Whether it was finance, fashion, art, business, whatever. They knew it would be hard work but they craved success.
So they accepted the fact that they’d be broke and living in a share with three other people and barely making rent for most of their 20s, but would come out the other side better off for it. It was called ‘paying your dues, and the city ran like this for generations.
It was a wildly successful system.
Now they come here with a trust fund and have no interest in jobs or personal success, so they get fake nonprofit work and go into politics and ruin everyone else’s life because they have no real talent or ambition and are angry about it.
That’s how we got here.
They forgot to add the price of the silverware, the oven, the cutting board, the bowls, the electricity in the home… this meal probably cost like $10,000 for them
