@DefiyantlyFree veggie prices make it hard. And egg prices. I have to eat eggs for breakfast, usually eggs and toast and bacon. With eggs high, it's hard to buy fresh veggies. But no sugar. No way, I'm diabetic, I'm on shots and I don't want to get worse and have amputation. Keep coke away
@DefiyantlyFree that's quick and doesn't need to be cold. Other than that, no sugar and no artificial sweetener. That is also very bad on diabetics. So I drink tea with nothing in it, no lemon, no sugar, no sweetener. Nothing. I cook, love to cook, only thing is benefits and high meat and
@1503BQ @Timcast or something because I do take shots. I like to cook. The bad thing is, I only get 200.00 in benefits, so meat and veggies are very expensive, makes it hard. I do have to buy the cheap brand of canned veggies.
@1503BQ @Timcast Just plain water for me and when I eat I do make my own tea. Just plain tea, no sugar no artificial sweetener. I have to eat 3 meals a day with my shots and count carbs. So with my snap I try to stick to diabetic friendly stuff. I do have to have some carbs like potatoes
@hrlindsey@JackPosobiec juice, a small bottle of it would be a staple for me during those diabetic emergencies. I live alone so I need to keep something for that purpose only. Those glucose tablets do no work for me. May work for some, but not me.
@hrlindsey@JackPosobiec like that. Sugar will melt under your tongue. My diabetic doctor has put in his orders/instructions that if my blood sugar falls 70 or below I must drink half cup of juice and a protein (usually peanut butter and crackers) and then check again in 15- 20 minutes. So orange
@hrlindsey@JackPosobiec That's hard to decide. Some chips are a staple for busy household with kids. Especially the picky child eaters. Sometimes the only way to get them to eat something healthy is to give the chips with it. So it depends on person to person. It's not one size fits all.
@PamC1393@JackPosobiec@RobertKennedyJr Exactly. Aspartame is bad for you. Artificial sugar is bad. I'm a diabetic and I've been told not to have anything artificial. Your body is looking for the sugar and it wreaks havoc on a diabetic.
@BasedMikeLee Yes! Never get rid of DST. So many bad health issues with Standard Time. I'm ready for the change to DST and be happier, sleep better, more active and no more depression
