Black Florida criminal on probation for armed carjacking gets 45 years after he and accomplice EXECUTE white bicyclist - laugh about it.

Savonne Morrison, 21, was already on felony probation for a violent armed carjacking when he and black accomplice Jermaine Bennett went on a rampage in October 2022.

They smashed car windows with a tire iron in St. Petersburg, beat a 79-year-old man, then chased down 49-year-old White bicyclist Jeffrey Chapman on Clearwater Beach. Morrison pushed Chapman off his bike while Bennett bludgeoned him repeatedly, taking his life.

Cops recovered sick texts from Bennett sharing news stories of the m*rder, laughing, and declaring “We did it,” “Lol damn they shut down Clearwater,” and “Legends.”

Bennett got life without parole. A jury convicted Morrison of second-degree manslaughter in the k*lling. Monday he was sentenced to 45 years.

Here's to hoping his future cellmate sees what he did. Let's make that happen.
