“Presidential elections are happening in four months, and all of a sudden, the same person who funds these elections is coming out to say he's selling Refinery shares for ₦5,000 for 10 shares. Poor people are busy gathering their money and sending it to them because they want to buy shares. You people will learn new things." — VeryDarkMan
🚨Petr Cech on Rebert Sanchez performance for Chelsea tonight against Fulham:
🗣️ I’m not going to sugar-coat it. That first goal from Josh King… that is not acceptable at Chelsea. Near-post, tight angle, low drive — you get down, you make yourself big, you keep it out. He dived late, the ball went through him.
That is a basic save.
Then the second one. Castagne hits it, the parry is weak, the rebound drops right there and García heads it in. You have to claim that or push it wide with both hands. Soft hands cost a goal.
And earlier he lets a simple back-pass roll out for a corner. That tells you the concentration is not there from the first whistle.
Two goals from four shots on target. That is not elite goalkeeping.
Chelsea scored three, the attackers did their job. But when the goalkeeper is giving the opposition two soft goals in a derby, you cannot keep pretending everything is fine. This club has standards. Clean sheets, command of the box, no free gifts. Right now we are not seeing that consistently. Potential is not enough when the mistakes keep coming in big moments.”
Last season his Premier League save percentage sat at 66.7 percent. The year before it was 73.4. Tonight he is operating well below his own average, and well below what this club used to demand. Chelsea’s attackers have scored three. The goalkeeper has given two cheap ones back. Potential is irrelevant when the save percentage in a west London derby drops to 50 percent.”
🚨 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘: Chelsea currently have 38 players under contract, giving them the largest squad in the Premier League. 🤯🏴
The club will only be able to register 25 players for the Premier League this season. 😳🥶
