@JohnWight1 Ireland was part of Britain in 1887 and 1888 so those Irish coming to Scotland were not migrants. They simply moved from one part of Britain to another. Nice try with the oppressed victimhood.
@CF3Loyal Hearts best January will include becoming the first club in history to beat THREE different Celtic managers in ONE league season. Both CalMac and St Martin will need hankies this time! #HeartsFC
“I should imagine that two or three independent Highland companies might be of use; they are hardy, intrepid, accustomed to a rough country, and no great mischief if they fall.”
@_JamieMcIntyre@aonghasphadraig I don't. I feel the one reason this (and RET) work is because anyone could use them. No tax payer from elsewhere in Scotland can complain that they are subsidizing H and Islanders.
Israeli strike kills infant girl in Lebanon while she is at her father's funeral
Read it again
And ask yourself, when is it enough?
How much more depravity must we witness until there is accountability?
When does Israeli impunity end?
We must speak up against this insanity
This bullshit really has to stop. Ferries carry tourists, both foreign and domestic to the islands. They export huge volumes of goods for export to help the whole country. RET applies to every passenger, regardless of origin.
So stop with the 3k subsidy for islanders bs
@the_fairness The Scottish tax payer is subsidising each islander to the tune of £3000/yr to provide them with a ferry service, they have the least expensive and most reliable service in the world. How much extra do you think we should throw at them?
If we have to go to Parkhead on the last day of the season its an absolute disgrace.
Nothing to do with us playing them but more down to the fact only 600 of our support would be let in to potentially see us lift our first league title since the 60s.
What if I told you that myself and the other two ‘white’ players pictured here are the sons of immigrants as well?
This is Canada. Our strength is in our diversity and it is what makes our country so special - not tragic. 🇨🇦
@DavidTannerTV Hi David. Can you elaborate on what your were alluding to when you mentioned Celtic fans blessing themselves please? Do you think it's wrong to bless yourself?
Day 24 of waiting for a response from you.
@talkSPORT
@Macnessie Do I think its deliberately been mismanaged, no. But that is immaterial to the lives reality of life on the islands right now. Islanders are not making it political but both Indy and Unionist camp are by belittling or exaggerating issues depending on what side of the fence u sit
Ah the age old attitude of the Lowlands, dont dare complain about something that has been run into the ground by years of government neglect, just shut up and be happy with your lot
@Macnessie The ferries that have developed faults were to have left the fleet years ago but Fergusons debacle and delays in ordering boats from Turkey have led to this.
You have 1 ferry having to cover 8 islands thanks to this.
And the Islands most badly affected voted 75% yes
Celtic fans display a Palestinian flag.
FIFA: “We have opened an investigation against you and imposed a fine.”
Israel kills hundreds of registered footballers in Gaza and carries out genocide.
FIFA: “We cannot resolve geopolitical issues, we are not imposing any sanctions on Israel.”
Its been over one week since the Jewish ambulance incineration. The event received more attention in the press than several ongoing massive wars.
Ministers appeared, new ambulances appeared and people were arrested. Then it all went quiet.
I suspect we will her even less about who did it than the motives of Ukrainian arsonist rent boys.
Interesting Fact: Barra and South Uist voted 75% in favour of Indy yet X is full of Indy supporters telling islanders they should be grateful with their lot because the Kerrera ferry is sailing.
Mainsplaining at its finest
