Yes. I regretfully had not dug into the situation further. I do wish I had spoken sooner. I had originally contacted 'Jorm' in concern to this and believed he had expressed the truth here. That was not the case at all.

I did not intend to dismiss this person. As I have stated, the individual mentioned has had past behaviors of self-destruction. I was uncomfortable / afraid of ending things abruptly due to their nature. As a result, I slowly distanced. I say this as reasoning, not justification for being around this person at that time despite the situation. I do not support these wrongdoings and wish I had cut them off sooner, preferably during adolescence.
