It was a pleasure meeting Brenda Achieng Obuya, an ICT Officer at the State Department for ICT and Digital Economy, ahead of her departure to Thailand for the prestigious Annual International Training Course on “AI for Science & Digital Innovation: Empowering International Economic and Social Transformation.”

The programme, organized by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) in partnership with Mahidol University, brings together professionals from different countries to explore how Artificial Intelligence, science, and digital innovation can drive economic growth and social transformation.

Brenda’s participation is a proud reflection of Kenya’s growing leadership in digital transformation and innovation. I wish her success as she represents the country, gains global exposure, and contributes to conversations shaping the future of AI and digital economies.

You came in a credible 2nd as you held the Kenyan Flag high in a hotly contested seat of the AUC Chairmanship.

You did not lose; the majority had their way. The African and the Kenyan spirit lives on.
