Today at Chamblee Station, @MARTAPolice Chief Scott Kreher led a press briefing showcasing the advanced capabilities of the Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) and Emergency Operations Center (EOC). These state-of-the-art facilities allow real-time monitoring of over 3,000 live camera feeds across the transit system, improving awareness and response times.
MARTA Police works collectively with @Atlanta_Police, local law enforcement agencies, and safety groups to ensure a secure transit experience.
With enhanced technology and specialized units like the K-9 team, Bomb Squad, Drone Team, and Mobile Command Center, MARTA continues to set the standard for transit safety. Initiatives like “Ride with Respect” empower riders to contribute to a safe and respectful environment.
