It's National Family & Life Week, and this year's theme is "I am with you always." (Matthew 28:20). We are encouraged to take time this week to celebrate our own families, express gratitude, offer forgiveness, or share meaningful moments with loved ones across generations. This week is an opportunity to uphold the value of life and to live out our calling to love one another within our homes, communities, and the world. https://t.co/FP9bpAWzDV
The Catholic Church has consistently taught that each human life, from the moment of conception until natural death, is sacred and deserves to be protected. Indeed, the right to life is the very foundation of every other human right. For this reason, only when a society safeguards the sanctity of human life will it flourish and prosper.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Over the last few years our Principals have met regularly with our Parish Priests to discuss ideas about how we can improve on our mission of inspiring our students to follow the example of Jesus. Linda Staudt, a former Superintendent who has been facilitating those discussions while participating in the Synod on Synodality in Rome, was asked to deliver a presentation there on Saturday to 2000 attendees from across the globe at the Jubilee of Synod Teams, on what we have been doing here in Windsor-Essex. Here is the video that she presented, which helps explain this important process. https://t.co/2K2aAxOYQI

Pope Leo XIV urges "every Catholic parish in the world to take part in World Mission Sunday," held on October 19, under the theme "Missionaries of Hope among the peoples."
In the video message, the Pope recalls the assistance he received as a missionary priest and bishop in Peru, noting that the whole Church prays in unison for missionaries and the fruitfulness of their apostolic labors.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
