Can you please share for Teddy?
Teddy is a 4 year old male Cockapoo. He is available and looking for a new home.
Teddy would be suitable to a man who is looking for a companion.
He seems to listen to men more than women.
He hasn't been around other dogs/children.
Teddy eats both wet and dry food and sleeps in his own bed at night.
He can pull on the lead to begin with but soon settles down into his walk.
Teddy travels well in the car, he likes to poke his head out the window for some fresh air.
He is also registered at the vets and up to date with all of his vaccinations.
Teddy loves treats and chews.
He also likes the occasional cooked meat or cheese. His recall is good if you have something he likes.
Teddy is familiar with boarding kennels and settles in with no issues. He is groomed every 6-8 weeks and is always well behaved.
He will go to his new home with everything to settle him in.
Teddy is not destructive and can be left alone.
He would suit a male only household with no other pets.

Yesterday, Dogs on the Streets received an urgent call from someone we have supported for many years.
Over the years, we've stood by the owner through some of his darkest times, including taking his beloved dog, Taz, into foster care when he needed help.
Taz wasn't just a pet – he was family, a companion, and one of the biggest reasons his owner kept fighting through his rehabilitation journey.
Yesterday, Taz suddenly collapsed. He was heavily panting, vomiting, and rapidly deteriorating. In desperation, his owner contacted the veterinary practice that had been involved with Taz over the years. Shockingly, they refused to see him because there were no funds available upfront and no payment plan could be agreed.
How can a dog be left to suffer in such a critical condition because of money? It is absolutely heartbreaking and, quite frankly, shocking.
As soon as we received the call, we stepped in immediately.
Sadly, by the time Taz was assessed, his condition had deteriorated so severely that the vet advised the kindest and most humane option was euthanasia. There was no quality of life left for him, and he was suffering greatly.
our hearts are broken for Taz's owner. The bond they shared was incredible, and the loss is devastating. No one should have to face this alone.
Dogs on the Streets has covered the full veterinary bill of £571.90 including Taz's euthanasia, an individual cremation, and the return of his ashes so that he can come home where he belongs.
We will continue to support his owner through this unimaginable loss, just as we always have.
Run free, beautiful Taz. 🌈🐾
You were loved beyond words, and you will never be forgotten.
To all veterinary practices: please remember that behind every dog is a human being who loves them. Compassion should never depend solely on the size of someone's bank account.
If anyone would like to help contribute towards the cost we made you can do so in the link below and if you could title it Taz, thank you 🧡

Drooper is desperate.
Yesterday four of his playgroup friends were killed. He watched them being dragged away catchpoled & not return. He knows he lost them.

Sharing a plea from the National Bernese Mountain Dog Rescue 🙏🥹 to all of you who are Berner parents like us and for those who love this breed 👇 any help you can give this wonderful rescue will be greatly appreciated - we need to stop backyard breeders from breeding berners, newfs , Pyrenees and other mixed breeds to death - it starts by cutting off their demand 😡 these backyard breeders need to find other methods of gainful employment 🤬
“When we learned about five Berners living in heartbreaking conditions, two of our incredible volunteers didn’t hesitate. They rented a van, hit the road, and brought these dogs to safety.
What they found was devastating.
Three females and two males were severely underweight, covered in filth, and suffering from significant neglect. They are experiencing severe muscle atrophy from prolonged lack of proper nutrition, care, and exercise. One of the males weighs just 58 pounds—a fraction of what a healthy Bernese Mountain Dog should weigh. Their coats were heavily matted and saturated with urine and feces, leaving them uncomfortable and in desperate need of care.
As their veterinary evaluations begin, we are already uncovering additional concerns. One female has tested positive for heartworm disease, and all five dogs were found to have intestinal worms and have already begun treatment.
Yet despite everything they have endured, their spirits remain intact.
These dogs still seek affection, wag their tails, and lean into every gentle touch. Even after experiencing unimaginable neglect, they continue to trust, forgive, and love.
The Rolla 5 are finally safe, but their journey is just beginning. They will need time to regain strength, rebuild muscle, and heal.
We are incredibly grateful to the volunteers and fosters now helping them on that journey. Please keep the Rolla 5 in your thoughts as we learn more about their medical needs. If you’d like to support their recovery, donations toward their veterinary care are greatly appreciated. Their names are Mateo, Timber, Luna, Clarise and Chela 😍🥹 here’s the FB link to their video https://t.co/f62fhYL10s

🆘🆘 MILO (ID 254233), 15 YO, MALE – IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 5/27/2026, with the surrender reason stated as animal behavior - not house trained. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 6/13/26
➡️ SENIOR ALERT
➡️ MEDICAL PRIORITY – NEEDS MORE CARE AND ATTENTION THAN THE SHELTER CAN PROVIDE -IN FELINE ICU😱😱😱
➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST
➡️🆘🆘 4TH Chance on Emergency Placement List – BEYOND URGENT - NO ROOM IN SHELTER – WILL NOT BE GIVEN MUCH MORE TIME – VERY HIGH EU/SILENT KILL RISK – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 16 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ MILO IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS -Milo is a geriatric cat with chronic kidney disease. He is also very underweight and has significant dental disease, but has been eating well in shelter and is friendly. Milo will need continued nursing care and veterinary follow-up for his medical issues. This evaluation/diagnosis means that MILO will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Milo is a handsome senior gentleman with a friendly personality and plenty of love to give. Affectionate, talkative, and independent, he's the kind of cat who enjoys being part of the household without demanding constant attention. You'll usually find him wherever the people are-lounging in the living room, supervising activity in the kitchen, or watching the world go by from his favorite window perch. Milo enjoys gentle play and especially likes toys that crinkle. He still has a playful side and loves chasing the occasional bug or moth that wanders indoors. When it comes to scratching, he prefers rope, carpeted surfaces, and cardboard scratchers. A low-maintenance eater, Milo happily enjoys Friskies wet and dry food. As a senior cat, he's looking for a patient adopter who will appreciate his companionship and understand that he may need some extra support. Milo has been reported to scratch furniture and has had occasional litter box accidents, so he may do best with an adopter willing to help him adjust to a new environment and provide appropriate scratching options and litter box management. If you're looking for a sweet, conversational companion who enjoys sharing your space and keeping you company throughout the day, Milo may be the perfect match. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

Chance is a lovely 1 year old Cockapoo type who has no tail, which makes him very urgent for a home under the upcoming law changes.
He is child friendly and can live with cats following usual introductions as he is a bit nervous of them.

Little Casper has been fantastic in foster. He's now ready for his own family. ❤️❤️
🐶❤️Casper is friendly and affectionate. He loves to cuddle and have belly rubs and will make a great family pet. He’s good with children of all ages and enjoys their company, and he is good with other dogs and cats.
❤️🐶Casper will need some boundaries putting in place due to his over enthusiastic need to love, he tends to jump onto knees and to stick his nose in faces, however he is intelligent and responsive to training . He is good on a lead but needs some training to walk to heel.
❤️🐶Casper loves going out for walks and will be a loyal companion to whoever adopts him. A real treasure!
He’s 5 years old neutered and vaccines are all up to date.
He really would suit any house hold but we’d like him to have a nice quiet calm home as he loves nothing more than sitting on your knee and being loved,
He’s in the Selby area but can travel.
Please message if you'd like more info

#k9hour 2yo WINTER has not had a kind life so far. She has been passed from pillar to post & not given a chance really. She so wants her forever home, it is so sad a dog can be treated like this. She loves to be with her people & to be the centre of attention, she's not had much of that.🥹 Winter will need an adult home where someone is around most of the time until she has settled in & learnt whats what, someone who will give her lots of physical exercise & mental stimulation.
