π Beyond delighted to spend my final morning in Victoria π¨π¦ giving a seminar to the Institute of Ocean Sciences on my research on marine mammals, cumulative effects, the #ScottishVesselProject, and Arctic shipping! π HUGE thankyou to the funders for making this trip possible π€
.@SUPERDTP1 - #PhD studentship: The combined impacts of #climatechange induced environmental variation and pollutant mixtures on #stress response in typical estuarine invertebrate species - deadline 28 Feb, 2023 #ecotoxicology https://t.co/VS6h7EPuHV
#smartexccz day9: discussing logistics of shared cold room space allocation in advance of first samples coming on board. Provided feedback on Hons dissertations #lifeofanacademic
#smsrtexccz day6: first proper (successful) dummy run of the horizontal electrophoresis; started preparing the baited fish and amphipod traps #ecotoxicology#lifeofanacademic

Pleased to share our #OpenAccess paper, published in the Marine Pollution Bulletin! We show that exposure of estuarine microphytobenthos (MPB) to select stressors at environmentally relevant intensities is more important than the sequence of exposure.
