Hi @AirtelNigeria, it's second month i started using ODU WiFi device wit monthly 50mb subscription.
In first month it was out of service for about 7days before it was active. I did another subscription for another 30days on Monday and since on Tuesday it has been inactive. Why?
Mass death should never become normal.
At the 2026 National Day of Mourning Conflict-Specific Dialogue, one message came through clearly: every life must count, every incident must be recorded, and every act of violence must demand accountability.
As Noya Sedi (Programs Manager, Global Rights) reminded us, “If we want fewer headlines about mass death and more real change, then we have to treat every life as countable and every incident as worthy of public record.”
This is why we mourn.
This is why we document.
This is why we refuse to look away.
Because the goal is simple: safety, dignity, and a Nigeria where preventable deaths stop being normal.

What isn’t recorded gets denied.
And what gets denied gets repeated.
Eight years after the first National Day of Mourning, Nigeria is still counting its dead, still documenting attacks, still naming communities, still asking why warnings are ignored, why responses come late, and why justice so often disappears after the condolence visit.
@Ken_Henshaw captured it plainly: “We didn’t set out to build something that would last eight years. We set out to force a response.”
But when the response does not come, the record must remain.
Because survivors must not be made invisible.
Because official silence must not bury the truth.
Because Nigerian lives matter.

A Ukrainian drone drops a bomb on an injured Russian soldier.
What happens next feels unreal.
The bomb lands right beside him… and he casually picks it up and throws it away like it’s just a ball.
A level of bravery so raw, even the enemy would respect it 🫡
