Met our first 2 Mutual Aid Needs for today.
It's a day to be thankful AF for bc together we did that.

$100 needed ASAP to secure tent/survival items for Clark, 1 of our unhoused folks who lost everything to an encounter w/ local "cops"

And to the rest making stupid comments...This is about AUTONOMY too. Kids hvng the options OTHER kids w/ $ do. Kids w/ $ can have soda! No is telling the parents who are NOT on SNAP what they can - can't buy! This is punishing those struggling with poverty.

▪️Becks - $105 by 2maro to cover her medication while waiting for Medicaid approval that's been consistently delayed by DHHS setbacks. Again no one should have to go without their life sustaining medication simply bc of $

▫️Codie – $85 ASAP to cover dosing fees and transportation to/from the clinic. We didn't make the funds needed by yesterday & the clinic has given us until today @ 11am to raise the $85 needed. If not then her financial contract specifies she will begin her financial detox TODAY.

▪️Cara – $200 ASAP to help w/ survival needs including food, gas for their vehicle (which is doubling as shelter), clothes/hygiene items. Cara is pregnant & caring for her 5-year-old son, struggling to find safety, food & wellness. She needs our help desperately.
