Expedia is a flawed communications platform. It is possibly highly effective at booking flights and taking money, but when there is a problem, it doesnt allow for communications between customer and business end. #travelfail@ExpediaHelp@ExpediaGroup@expedia_au
Bring back the travel agent! It is exhausting dealing with the Expedia platform. If you have a problem you cant ring or visit them, you can only use virtual chat for an AI response or message them through twitter, FB etc. #lessonlearned@Expedia@ExpediaGroup@expedia_au
A brighter note for journalism education today thanks to @JN_Institute The Judith Neilson Institute for Journalism and Ideas (JNI) will partner with @JERAA on a special Constructive Journalism reporting project for 2020. For details https://t.co/8wir5lei3T

Opposed to the Oz University fees hike, which targets Humanities and Arts? Please sign and share this important petition: https://t.co/PdQ4qAdj12 via @MegaphoneAU
Melbourne University's German Studies department has existed for over 50 years in the Faculty of Arts where @DanTehanWannon did his BA. He could have learnt German for free. So it wasn't the system that prevented him from learning a language. He had a choice #HumanitiesMatter
The point of HECS was always fairness - you repay if you earn more. Saddling humanities graduates with a law graduate’s debt betrays that compact and betrays Aussie students. Shame.

"I want to live in a society that has an economy, not the other way round. Not an economy that happens to have a society!"
@deborahcheetham says hiking up costs of some arts degrees makes it "impossible to conceive" of an industry going forward. Do you agree? #TheDrum
So Australian history is important enough to be mandated in the National Curriculum (by govt), but uni students are now being effectively discouraged from studying it (by same govt)? You can't have it both ways.
