MAZA Closes Down
On 21st March 2019, MAZA had its final event in Bunkpurugu, North East Region, Ghana. We said our thank yous and goodbyes to the health staff, community members and MAZA drivers we’ve been working with for the past few years.
We also handed over new motorized tricycles to three Community Emergency Transportation Schemes committees which had been able to raise 50% of the financing to purchase their own motorized tricycles; MAZA provided the other 50%.
Over the period of our existence, our drivers have successfully transported a total of 614 passengers. The infographic shows the demographic distribution and districts executed in.
