Great to see some of the work from our Irish colleagues at ADCO - you can read more about their work on the Dublin Port Heritage and Conservation Strategy here:

Today is International Day for Monuments and Sites! Some wrecks are designated Scheduled Ancient Monuments and we have been involved with sites like SS Faith and WWII Tanks and Bulldozers. Why not go and see the artefacts from SS Faith currently on display @shipwrecksiow ?
Happy International Women’s Day! Our workforce is 85% female and the work we do includes outreach, desk-based assessments, intertidal excavation, working offshore and diving submerged sites. Who does this work is never based on gender and we aim to #InspireInclusion every day.
Over the weekend, some suspected archaeology washed on the foreshore from the recent windy weather was reported to us. This was a great opportunity to use our new Artec Eva scanner so that we could quickly record the object and rapidly process the models.
Starting the year strong! Christin and Garry have been attending the @sha_org this week, with Chritin presenting, alongside our colleagues from @acua_social, on Marine Survey techniques 📸⛵
Forams (foraminifera) are single-celled organisms that have existed for ~540 million years sometimes found in geotechnical cores. We analyse them in our geoarchaeological assessments for offshore developments to determine when sediments are from and what the environment was like.
#Research and #Analysis services are essential parts of #archaeologicalassessments. Get in touch to see how we can work with you to help ensure archaeology within your development is protected.
Lowri Roberts was on BBC Radio Cymru today talking about the San Jose wreck and and the issues around four different countries claiming ownership, and how the new forensic marking @HistoricEngland trialed on #KleinHollandia this summer helps protect wrecks

We had a great day attending the very successful #annualgeneralmeeting on October 20, with #talks from various staff members updating us on all the exciting work that has been undertaken this year.
We are looking forward to our AGM tomorrow; catch up on previous year's talks online via the MAT YouTube (https://t.co/YE9YzdfwXX https://t.co/lwi47scVWg)
For #WorldRiversDay we are celebrating #palaeochannels, which can be used to show a timescale of past landscapes. #Geotechnical cores can contain evidence of settlements and environments around these previous river systems and how past people, flora and fauna engaged with them.
The #PAD is a safety net to ensure archaeological discoveries are reported and additional mitigation can be implemented quickly and effectively. Get in touch for project-specific training covering what to do if archaeology is discovered unexpectedly.
Throwback to learning about identifying #zoological#osteological remains course at @theuniversityofsheffield. Animal bones are often seen when diving on wrecks, as evidence of the food consumed onboard, or more rarely, fossilised within the sediment of now #submergedlandscapes.
